The grapes for this wine come from 3 Pinot Noir plots: "Girlan", "Pinzon" and "Mazon". The selected plots are particularly suitable because of their geological and microclimatic characteristics. The vineyards are located between 380 and 530 metres above sea level. and are characterised by moraine deposits on volcanic porphyry rocks and west-facing loamy limestone soils on the other.
The grapes are harvested by hand and placed in small containers to prevent excessive pressure on the grapes. After combing, the must is gravity-fed into steel tanks where alcoholic fermentation takes place (20-22 days). After malolactic fermentation, the wine is aged for 12 months in barriques (70%) and small 12 hl. barrels (30%). Finally, the wine is aged in bottle for a further 6 months.
Ruby red in colour. Characterised by fresh aromas of wild berries and cherries. The wine shows great elegance and fruitiness with very velvety and delicate tannins with a long aftertaste.
