In a word: superiority by nature.
After 12 years of producing Vapolicella wines with the 2018 vintage, the winemaker has achieved his goal, which he set himself in this wine from the very beginning: the desire to express the blend and the traditional method of Valpolicella Superiore at the highest level. A distinct identity for the personal interpretation of Ripasso, in which the value of each individual element determines its significance.
Vinification and maturation: fermentation of fresh grapes in September-October at natural temperature, with re-fermentation, about 15 days, in January on the skin of Amarone, in accordance with the classic Ripasso tradition.
Aged for at least 2 years in large Slavonian oak ovals, then 6 months in bottle.
Medium ruby red with a tendency to garnet with aging.
Notes of ripe cherries and semi-dry plums
Soft and seductive, with an appealing spiciness and impressions of ripe fruits and spices.
