The grapes are harvested by hand and vinified in the traditional Kakhetian style – long skin contact (1 month), fermentation and aging in Qvevri. For more than a year the wine has been in Qvevri.
The unique combination of alluvial-limestone soil and local climate results in an intensely dark, rich, full-bodied wine from the resulting grapes.
Aromas of black berries with tobacco – bitter chocolate, prunes.
Unfiltered wine, heavy sediment is possible.
