For this extraordinary wine, the finest Chardonnay, Pinot Bianco and Sauvignon grapes from the hillside vineyards of the cru “Girlan” are selected. They grow in different vineyards aged 15 to 20 years, at an altitude of 450 to 500 m above sea level. The growing area is rich in minerals as a result of Ice Age sedimentation.
The grapes are harvested by hand and placed in small containers to prevent excess pressure on the grapes. Soft pressing of the whole bunch and clarification of the must due to natural sedimentation. Pinot Bianco and Sauvignon are fermented at controlled temperatures in stainless steel tanks. Chardonnay is fermented in 12 and 15 hectoliter oak barrels followed by malolactic fermentation. Aged on lees for 10 months. After blending and bottling, the wine is aged for another 9 months before being released as Riserva.
Elegant frame and fine texture with intense fruity notes. Excellent structure, aromatic and mineral, with a persistent taste.
