Chacha is Georgia's second national drink after wine. It is a brandy with a high alcohol content. Brandy is made from grape pomace - the residue of grapes left over after winemaking, which Georgians call "chacha", hence the name.
This chacha is made from three white and two red varieties from the village of Obcha. The distillation process was very mild and well controlled in temperature, which creates a more subtle flavour and aroma.
