Roero is a small paradise made up of sand dunes the colour of yellow ochre clay, covered with green vineyards, which together create a magical and enchanted landscape.
The vineyard tradition in the Roero area has been the inspiration for the denomination and has deep roots over time.
Roero is made from pure Nebbiolo grapes that peak in the Barolo and Barbaresco varieties, and Roero produces a rare fine and elegant wine that has been a great success for only a few years.
The vineyard from which it comes is the oldest Nebbiolo vineyard owned by the company, planted in 1946 by Giovanni Demari together with his brother when the latter returned from the war. Giovanni, 20 years younger than him, met his brother on his return.
Thus, this vineyard still tells the story of two unknown brothers and their return home after six years of war and captivity.
The colour is deep with brick reflections.
The aroma is intense, with hints of violets, raspberries and blackberries, with a touch of spices.
Full-bodied wine, harmonious, warm and powerful. Sensations of violet and red fruits with a touch of pleasant spicy flavours of liquorice and cocoa.
Alcoholic fermentation in steel tanks. Malolactic fermentation and 6 months in French oak barriques.
