The name of the line was inspired by the most important year for the production and trade of Sicilian wine, 1921; in the 1920s the fortune and distribution of marsala shed a new light on the whole of Sicily, in fact it was the first wine to reach the market in Europe, especially France and the UK.
The Pacificus bottle seems to be dressed in typical Sicilian lace and is reminiscent of the fabrics used by local women in the first decades of the twentieth century.
The harvest is in September.
Cold pre-maceration; maceration for 10-12 days at controlled temperature followed by maturation in barriques for about 6 months.
Ruby red colour with light purple reflections; elegant and complex taste with hints of black mulberry, liquorice, blueberry and currants; the taste is balanced and with good acidity.
