Description

The dry heat of Southern Italy leads to an amazing ripening of the Negroamaro grape, which produces richly spicy black fruit with a firm structure and a slight freshness.
QUATTRONOTTI is a special Negroamaro Passito whose grapes were unusually harvested at night. The grapes of this vineyard had reached the point of maximum wilting. To avoid damaging the grapes, the growers did not mechanically harvest them in the afternoon as usual. The grapes were carefully harvested by hand at night to avoid further exposure to sunlight. The name QUATTRONOTTI comes from the 4 nights that the farmers spent picking the grapes by hand.
The grapes were harvested at night, after reaching the maximum degree of dryness. The grapes undergo pre-cold maceration and subsequent maceration at a controlled temperature.
Organoleptic parameters
Intense and complex, with notes of ultra-ripe fruit, vanilla and spices. An elegant and velvety wine, rounded, full bodied and harmonious in flavour.
