An important red wine for the Nativ winery, whose vines grow on the volcanic soils of the Taurasi hills. The wine takes its name from the place where horses once grazed in the wild and where the remains of the "Hermitage of San Quirico" are preserved.
This wine is so precious that it has been decorated with a piece by contemporary artist Moreno Bondi.
The harvesting period is in October.
The grapes are harvested by hand and transported in small 20kg crates. They are lightly pressed, macerated for about 20 days in steel tanks, which undergo an alcoholic fermentation process. At the end of fermentation, the wine is separated from the grape skins and cleaned in new 225 hl French oak barrels for a period of 12 to 18 months.
A brilliant red colour with a tangy flavour typical of cherries.
Stainless steel / French oak barrel
