Description
The wine is made from Aglianico grapes, aged in oak barrels for two years giving it the specific name Aglianico di Taurasi DOCG, also in honour of the area where this grape variety is grown.
Harvesting - late October to early November
Maceration for about 20 days. Partial fermentation with autochthonous yeasts in French oak barrels. Aged in French oak barrels for 24 months.
The wine is very concentrated and the flavour is dense. On the nose it has aromas of ripe red fruits, cherries and blackberries.
