Venis celebrates the international spirit of Venice. Luxurious eighteenth-century Venetian banquets experience exotic flavours thanks to imports from charming locations of spices and savoury dishes, masterfully paired with Sauvignon Blanc. Produced at the Le Ronche estate located in Fossalta di Piave. "Le Ronche" is the name of the place where these vineyards are located, about 10 kilometres from the Adriatic Sea and 50 kilometres from the Dolomite Alps.
The soil is alluvial, composed of caranto, a mixture of white clay and minerals of the Dolomite Alps.
The climate is mild, with very little rainfall and high summer temperatures, allowing the grapes to ripen well.
In order to achieve perfect grape ripening, summer pruning is carried out in addition to the usual vineyard maintenance. In addition, the harvest is kept very low to produce grapes with rich aroma and flavour.
Harvest is early September, when the grapes are very well ripened but still have a good level of acidity.
Gentle pressing of all the grapes, cool static clarification and fermentation at controlled temperatures. The wine is then aged for several months on noble lees in stainless steel vats. The lees are often blended to increase the wine's density and smoothness. Straw yellow colour; persistent aromatic bouquet with exotic notes, citrus and elderberry, broad flavours and good minerality. In a cool and dark place, keeping the bottle in a horizontal position. Its structure and complexity allow the wine to improve during bottle maturation, which can last up to 10 years, reaching its peak 5 years after harvest.
