Description
Maceration and fermentation at controlled temperature with frequent overflow in concrete vats.
The wine is aged for about 12 months on noble lees in oak barriques.
Brilliant ruby colour, fine aroma characterised by cherry aromas and a spicy note of white pepper in the background. The wine has silky tannins and a harmonious body that provide long ageing potential.
Its structure and complexity allow the wine to improve during maturation in bottle, which can last up to 30 years, reaching its peak 15 years after harvest.
