Made from Saperavi grapes harvested in the Kvareli region, Gounashauri terroir, this wine is fermented and aged in kvevri, the traditional Kakhetian way. Spent over a month in contact with the skins, without stems. This savoury and buoyant Saperavi is dark maroon in colour and has notes of black berries and fruit. On the palate it has tangy acidity and astringent tannins. The lingering aftertaste further defines the characteristic features of this vibrant and energetic Saperavi.
