Description

The vineyards are located 760 metres above sea level. The vineyards are treated exclusively with biological and natural means. No irrigation. Grapes are harvested by hand and vinified in the traditional Kakheti style - long skin contact (1 month), fermentation and ageing in Kvevri. The wine stays in Kvevri for more than a year.
The unique combination of alluvial-limestone soil and local climate helps to produce an intensely dark, rich, full-bodied wine from the resulting grapes.
Aromas of black berries with tobacco - on the palate bitter chocolate, prunes.
The wine is unfiltered, heavy sediment is possible.
