It is obtained from the vineyard “Tombola di Pin” in the estate “Colvendrame”, which is located in the hills of Refrontolo, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The tuff-rich soil, extreme temperature changes day and night, and the 120-month aging of the bottled wine with yeast give this limited production of Talento a great look and elegance.
Landing year: 1984.
Harvested in early September, when the grapes still have good acidity. The grapes are harvested by hand and brought in boxes to the winery in Fossalta di Piave.
Vinification – soft pressing, cold static clarification and fermentation at controlled temperature. A share of the wine is fermented and processed for 8 months in oak barriques.
The second fermentation – cuvée is prepared in the spring. It is then bottled and the second fermentation takes place at 12°C.
Ripening – 120 months at 12°C.
Taste characteristics – fine and persistent perlage, yellow-straw color, fragrant aroma, very tender crust of fresh bread, full body, aristocratic, soft, with hints of hazelnut.
