The vineyards are located in the municipality of Negrar at an altitude of 100 m above sea level. Clay-limestone soil.
The grapes are harvested exclusively by hand, starting in mid-September. After careful selection, the grapes are placed in small wooden boxes and left to dry. Around the end of January, the grapes are gently pressed and left to slowly ferment. When the alcohol content reaches 13%, fermentation is stopped (decanting, filtering, temperature control) to keep the wine sweet. Then it is immediately placed in oak barrels for 6 months.
Color – dark ruby red.
Aroma – fruity notes, especially raspberries, black cherries and plums.
The palate is full-bodied, balanced, round, warm, rich in character and fresh.
When properly stored and at a constant temperature of 14-15°C, when closed and in the dark, it retains its characteristics for 10 years.
