Rive di Refrontolo Valdobbiadene Prosecco Superiore presents the essence of Prosecco in a refined and elegant version. Aroma, freshness and finesse are combined in a very pure expression. It conveys a dry and natural taste, demonstrating its maximum whole identity.
Colvendrame is the name of the hilly area where this vineyard is located. It has excellent exposure to the sun and the climate is ideal for growing grapes. The term “Rive” refers to the steep slopes of the hillside, which are considered the best places to grow Glera grapes.
The soil has an ideal structure for growing grapes, with a high content of clay. It is especially rich in tuff, which characterizes the wine.
The climate is mild. There are wide temperature differences between day and night, which is ideal for preserving the aroma and acidity of the grapes.
In order to achieve ideal ripening of the grapes, in addition to the usual care of the vineyard, summer pruning is carried out. In addition, the harvest is kept very low in order to produce grapes with rich body and aroma.
