The grapes for this wine come from 3 Pinot Noir growing areas: “Girlan”, “Pinzon” and “Mazon”. The selected sites are particularly suitable due to their geological and microclimatic characteristics. Vineyards are located at an altitude of 380 to 530 meters above sea level and are characterized by moraine deposits on volcanic porphyritic rocks, as well as west-facing loamy limestone soils on the other.
The grapes are harvested by hand and placed in small containers to prevent excess pressure on the grapes. After de-stemming, the wort is poured by gravity into steel tanks, where alcoholic fermentation takes place (20-22 days). After malolactic fermentation, the wine is aged for 12 months in barriques (70%) and small barrels of 12 hl (30%). Finally, the wine is aged in the bottle for another 6 months.
Ruby red color. Characterized by a fresh aroma of wild berries and cherries. The wine shows great elegance and fruitiness with very velvety and soft tannins with a long finish.
