Описание

For the manufacture of this wine is used only carefully selected grapes harvested on particularly fertile soil with low yields. Most of the grapes come from the vineyards in Girlan, which are planted on moraine soils, very rich in minerals, which give the wine its typical aroma, fullness and aftertaste. The rest of the grapes come from the land around Monte in the town of Appiano, where the soil is fresher than in Girlan (because the sun sets earlier here). Silty and clay soils on a limestone base give the wine freshness and aroma.
The grapes are harvested by hand and placed in small containers to prevent excess pressure on the grapes. Soft pressing of the entire cluster and clarification of the must by natural settling. Fermentation in oak barrels 12 and 15 hl followed by (partial) malolactic fermentation. Aging on the lees in oak barrels for 12 months, 6 months in stainless steel tanks and 6 months in bottle before the wine is released as Riserva.
Pinot Bianco has compact clusters of small greenish berries. It is the whitest grape variety grown in Girlan. The nose offers notes of pineapple and ripe fruit. Elegant wine with excellent structure, freshness and acidity. This Pinot Bianco provides extraordinary longevity and is a versatile wine for a wide variety of dishes.
