Описание

Fiano di Avellino is a strongly structured and full of flavor wine produced in the vineyards of Monftefalcione.
It has a more or less intense straw yellow color, enhanced by lemon green highlights.
Herbal notes typical of Fiano Avellino are combined with hints of nuts such as almonds and hazelnuts, citruses and apples.
Fiano di Avellino is clarified in stainless steel tanks and processed according to the “Batonnage” technology, in which the wine is aged on the lees for at least one year. The wine is stirred with a stick so that the sediment lying at the bottom rises.
Vitis Apicia, a Fiano di Avellino grape variety, was introduced to Italy by the Greeks. The first Fiano vines were planted in Lapio, in the same municipality where this wine is produced to this day. The name Vitis Apicia o Apina comes from the peculiarity of this very sweet grape, which attracts bees to the vineyards. From Apina came Apiana, then Afiana, and then Fiano.
