An important red wine for the Nativ winery, the vines of which grow on the volcanic soils of the Taurasi hills. The name of the wine comes from a place where horses once grazed in the wild and where the remains of the Hermitage of San Quirico are preserved.
This wine is so valuable that it has been decorated with a work by contemporary artist Moreno Bondi.
Harvest time is October.
The grapes are harvested by hand and transported in small boxes of 20 kg. They are subjected to light pressing, maceration for about 20 days in steel tanks, which are subjected to the process of alcoholic fermentation. At the end of fermentation, the wine is separated from the skin of the grapes and cleaned in new French oak barrels with a volume of 225 hl for a period of 12 to 18 months.
