After 12 years of producing Vapolicella wines with the 2018 vintage, the winemaker has achieved his goal that he set himself in this wine from the beginning: the desire to express the blend and the traditional method of Valpolicella Superiore at the highest level. A particular identity for the personal interpretation of Ripasso, in which the value of each individual element determines its significance.
Vinification and maturation: fermentation of fresh grapes in September-October at natural temperature, with re-fermentation, about 15 days, in January on Amarone skins according to the classic Ripasso tradition.
Aged at least 2 years in large ovals of Slavonian oak, then 6 months in bottle.
Medium ruby red with a tendency to garnet with aging.
Notes of ripe cherry and semi-dry plum
Soft and seductive, with an appealing savouriness and impressions of ripe fruit and spices.
