Khvanchkara is a wine of strictly controlled place of origin, made from Alexandrouli and Mujuretuli grape varieties. The vineyards are located in the Racha-Lechkhumi region, namely in the microclimatic zone of Khvanchkara, the slopes of Khimsha.
The wine is characterised by a red colour turning to ruby, the taste is sweet, with well-balanced tannins and a lingering rounded aftertaste.
The aroma has well pronounced aromas of forest berries, slowly evolving into flavours of prunes and dried fruits.
