The wine is made from the excellent Saperavi grape variety, harvested by hand. Saperavi is well known for its unique characteristics. The 19-year-old vineyards are located at an altitude of 760 metres above sea level. Planting of 10 hectares of vineyards - harvest from 1 hectare is 6-7 tonnes. The harvest period is from 10 to 20 October.
Fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks at 25-28°C, after malolactic fermentation the wine continues to age in French oak barrels for 12 months.
Hints of ripe cherry and blackcurrant on the palate, moving into a delicate vanilla aftertaste.
