Description
Barbale Exceptional Harvest Budeshuri Qvevri - made from the local Georgian grape variety Budeshuri, which is fermented and aged in Qvevri (90 days on the mezze and then aged for 10 months).
The wine is deep dark ruby colour with aromas of strawberry, rose and light hints of raspberry. On the palate, the wine is full-bodied and complex, with hints of black cherry, blackberry and plum, as well as firm tannins and a long spicy aftertaste, very pleasant acidity.
The wine can be drunk now or aged for several years to allow its flavours to develop further.
